2016 NORTH/SOUTH ALL STAR WRESTLING


Here are the 2016 Best Western North South All Star Wrestling Classic Rosters and Coaches. Congratulations are in order for each of these wrestlers. Specifically I would like to feature some of our All Star Wrestlers:



Zack Clary- Dorman

Zack Clary is one of the most accomplished wrestlers in South Carolina history. Zack has won two state titles during high school career heading into the individual state championships this weekend. Zack also led Dorman to their first ever team sual state championship this season. Zack has only lost one match in his high school career.



Seth Ham- Lugoff Elgin

Seth is a great wrestler that has won two individual state championships during his high school career. Seth also led his team to a quarterfinal finish in the AAAA State playoffs. .



























The following wrestlers are looking to win their 2nd state title this weekend at the SCHSL individual state tournament, held at the Anderson Civic Center.

The format for the event will be that the 4A/1A North Team will wrestle against the 3A/2A South Team and the 3A/2A North Team will wrestle against the 4A/1A South Team on Friday March 4th at 6pm. The losers of each dual will then wrestle for 3rd place and the winners of each dual will wrestle for 1st place at 12 noon on Saturday March 5th. Wrestling will take place at North Myrtle Beach High School.

I thought Zack had 2 losses. The Socastee kid in the finals last year and the Archer kid from this year early??? That is straight up tough, no shame with only 2 losses in a season let alone a career.

I fully respect the fact that Logan Sexton is on this list. That's 100% the right thing to do. Sucks that he got hurt in his senior year, and letting him be part of this shows its not just a "popularity" event. I respect that spot on the roster being given to him
