Webber Roberts ... Wow. I was allowed to watch an exclusive closed practice with our team this season. There she was, almost during the entire practice, calling plays, barking at players. in essence Webber was running the whole practice, coaching the whole team. Never seen it before.
The Faith Based Phenom Webber Roberts has the most game winning hits on the team. Webber calls all the pitches from behind the plate. One reason our star pitcher has elevated so much is because Webber has studied, learned, and effectively manages her star pitcher.
And talk about the umpires, so often branded about on this board. The very inside of the inside game. Webber Roberts is always talking to the plate umpire so no one hears. Always working this part of the game. Webbers "quick pick" is legendary In SC they stay on base, because they know better. In tourney's out of state, she has a field day.
