JV lady Bearcats defeated Airport yesterday 2-0 in a very well played game by both teams.
Great defensive efforts by SS Jenna Eaves (9th grade) and 2B Anna Pelfrey (7th grade).
Winning pitcher for the Bearcats was Madison Ezzelle (8th grade).
A great comeback effort by the Lady Bearcats fell short after being down 7-1 early the
Lady Bearcats rallied to a 11-8 loss. Leading hitters for the Varsity squad were
Caroline Heaton (2-3), Brooke Lucas (3-4) and Caleigh Taylor (8th grade) had a 2 RBI HR.
Whitney Jacobs also had a key two out hit to contribute 2 RBIs.
Last regular season games will be tom. against Midland Valley at home.
This will also be Senior Night for Amanda Corley, Katie Goodale, and Brooke Lucas. Come on out and support the girls.
