Will they ever get rid of this rule?

I doubt it will happen anytime soon. But, maybe the teams that had to forfeit this year will open their eyes. As you know, Greenville had to forfeit a spot in the state tournament because a player played in a travel ball tournament after the legion playoffs started. There was also a big controversy in North Carolina. High Point forfeited to Shelby. Things up there were even more screwed up. Run a Google search and you'll find the articles.

I just don't understand the rule at all. They want these kids to be loyal to a team during playoffs well what about the regular season. I'm sure these kids choose travel ball over legion durning the regular season.

They either

1. Not allow travel ball players at all even during regular season- which will hurt legion more than it's already hurt

2. Let them play through the playoffs.

Lol half these kids could give a crap about loyalty they just want to play.

I would like to ask a question on this subject. What is the different between a kid playing travel baseball and legion and a kid playing sr legion and jr legion ?
