Johnson has been working with QB1 Performance this off-season and has really been impressive. A 2017 player, he did not start until the end of his sophomore season. From a pure skills standpoint, he's solid. He has very good speed (sub 4.5) and really good hips, losing very little in transition. He transitions well in speed turn and in back pedal to break with no wasted motion. He has an understanding of reading routes and is getting better on quarterback keys, as well. I like this kid as player who could develop into one of the corners in the 2017 Class.
