SEC and South Carolina Talent

It has been nice to not only have the SEC tournament in Columbia but to see those SC products produce has been great for our state.

They really have played well . I'm a gamecock fan but I've enjoyed watching the others play . Still two left playing tonight for Kentucky in the championship game .

Georgia beats Kentucky 5-2 for the championship . Great crowd .

3 SC natives on the All Tournament Team , Ashley Czechner P Waccamaw, Sylver Samuel CF Hillcrest and Christian Stokes SS Chesterfield. Shame USC wasn't a player for these kids. The sins of the past staff has created a number of players joining SEC programs that could have played here. Pretty sure not much effort to get Czechner in either. The SC players at UK were show a ton of support in the championship game last night. Not saying USC didn't recruit these girls but there wasn't the effort that should have been given. It is a nice publicity for instate softball players and specifically the travel organizations they played in.
