The running back position is loaded for the Class of 2015 and players from SCISA rarely get recognition on the list of players to watch. But Cardinal Newman's Trey Napper is one that deserves recognition not just as a solid player, but a prospect as well.
Napper started two years at Ridge View HS prior to transferring to Cardinal Newman this past Spring. The 5-10, 180lbs back is a speedster with 4.42 speed in the 40. He's also got deceptive power, with a 310lbs Bench press and a 400lbs squat.
Last season for the Blazers, Napper rushed for more than 1,200 yards and was the major contributor to the Blazers' offense.
While he has no offers on the table yet, he is getting interest from Georgia, Clemson, South Carolina, Mississippi state, Wake Forest, Furman, Auburn, Vanderbilt ,The Citedal, and Georgia Southern. This past Summer, he camped at The Citadel, Georgia Southern, and South Carolina.
