League 1 - Goose Creek gave Beaufort their first loss. A win by the Ospreys would have all but wrapped up the league title, or at least a tie. Both faced league 2 teams in non conference games with Beaufort beating Lake City and Goose Creek falling to Florence

League 2 - Florence made a statement sweeping Horry in 3 games, including a 28-0 whopping, then went on the road and beat Goose Creek, and finished the week run-ruling Sumter 13-1. Florence takes over the top spot for the first time this season in the top 10. Murrells took a big step to securing one of the top 2 spots by taking 2 from Georgetown

League 3 - Sumter lost for the first time in league play, to Hartsville, to put them and Camden tied in the loss column. Manning's two wins over Dalzell puts them right back into the thick of things.

League 5 - no games due to beach week

League 6 - Hard to figure this league out, but at least its fun. Spartanburg has 7 wins now, but lost one to then-last place Travelers Rest. Union, with only 10 players, scored 24 on Inman. Now-last place Gaffney has been competative and not out of it yet. Gaffney played well in Shelby, NC this weekend, beating a strong Ohio team and playing Shelby tough, losing in the last inning.

League 7 - Greenwood's win over Greenville sets up a showdown this week. Like Gaffney, Belton played well in Shelby this weekend too, getting two wins over the two Ohio teams.

League 8 - beach week took its toll on some games here as there were 3 forfeits. Orangeburg benefitted from two of them and puts them back into 2nd place. Chapin-Newberry has control of the league with a 3 game lead in the loss column. West Columbia has fought back to get into playoff contention.
