The Class of 2017 will have several defensive backs in the mix for offers and one from the upstate to keep an eye on is Akyah Miranda of Belton-Honea Path. The 5-10, 165lbs cornerback finished the 2015 season with 4 interceptions, 11 pass breakups, and 41 tackles, garnering All Region and All Area honors for the Bears.
While he has not received any offers yet, he has generated interest from Old Dominion and Wofford.
Miranda has a good skills set at corner with solid vitals; he's a 4.47 40 yard dash guy with a 4.06 shuttle and a 35 inch vertical jump.
