The Carolina Elite Genovese/Fusetti Organization is excited to announce our first tryout date for our Carolina Elite 14U National and Regional Teams.
The first tryout is scheduled for Saturday, August 12, from 3-5PM at Mauldin High School. The school is located at 701 E Butler Rd, Mauldin, SC 29662. The softball field is located behind the school off of Corn Road.
The 2nd tryout will be either August 20th or August 27th - TBD.
You may attend either of the tryout dates that you wish, however if you would like to attend both, that is even better.
The National team has plans for a Fall schedule that includes - Diamond Classic, D9, Scenic City, and Veterans. And a Spring/Summer schedule that includes - Diamond Classic, Scenic City, Legacy, Colorado Sparkler, TCS Nationals and others depending on qualifying.
This National team will be headed by Cary Hutto. With current plans for him to be assisted by non-parent coaches. Cary had great success with his 12U National team of providing his players with a combination of development, competition, showcase environments, camp environments and communication and follow up with interested college coaches.
This team plans to build on the outstanding successes of our previous 14U National teams of being the best option around for placing girls in position to reach their goals of playing at the next level.
ALL 14U eligible players (2003 and 2004 birth years) that are interested in playing on either the Carolina Elite 14U National team OR a Regional team should all attend these same tryouts.
Both teams will be selected from this same pool of players.
All pitchers and catchers should make plans to stay at least 30 additional minutes at the end of tryouts.
