We will host our final tryout for our Carolina Elite 14U National team and potential Regional team (depending upon numbers) on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 1PM at Mauldin High School.
(In the event of cancellation due to weather, we will make up the tryout on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at 1PM at Mauldin High School).
The school is located at 701 E Butler Rd, Mauldin, SC 29662. The softball field is located behind the school off of Corn Road.
The National team has plans for a Fall schedule that includes - Diamond Classic, D9, Scenic City, and Veterans showcases. And a Spring/Summer schedule that includes - Diamond Classic, Scenic City, Legacy, Colorado Sparkler, TCS Nationals and others depending on qualifying.
This National team will be headed by Cary Hutto. With current plans for him to be assisted by non-parent coach(s) if possible. Cary had great success with his 12U National team of providing his players with a combination of development, competition, showcase environments, camp environments and communication and follow up with interested college coaches.
This team plans to build on the outstanding successes of our previous 14U National teams of being the best option around for placing girls in position to reach their goals of playing at the next level.
ALL 14U eligible players (2003 and younger birth years) that are interested in playing on either the Carolina Elite 14U National team OR a potential Regional team should all attend these same tryouts. Both teams would be selected from this same pool of players.
All pitchers and catchers should make plans to stay at least 30 additional minutes at the end of tryouts.
We would like for everyone who is planning to attend to please fill out the tryout form at the link below - even if you already filled one out for the previous tryout.
This will greatly expedite the check in process, as well as help us plan for numbers.
