The entire district is a CF. The only thing they have going for them is great facilities.
Very unintelligent folks in charge there! Too many personal agenda's and not enough love for the kids!
The first process had a predetermined finalist, who ended up turning the job down...All other first and second and even third round guys were simply lead on with no intentions from the super to offer the job to anybody except the guy that turned it down...Which most people expected to happen from the beginning....It'll probably get even worse...Pay will probably be terrible now that it's seperate.

Sad. There was a time when There was a lot of games won with talented football players in that county.
Ever since Walterboro HS merged with Ruffin its fallen off a cliff. This splitting of the job has sealed the death warrant. Sad. The pay will be peanuts for the coach if no AD responsibilities are involved.

Matt Haley from Westside would be an excellent choice as Athletic Director at Colleton County. He has done a good job coaching and does a lot of things that go unnoticed. He is in charge of the academic assistance program there and the change in academic performance has changed drastically over the pat three years. He also knows the ins and outs of how an athletic program works. He puts kids first and collaborates well with others. He would be an outstanding hire.
This is a rapidly spreading disease.
Colleton County would be LUCKY to get the likes of Matt Haley. Maybe they will hire him and allow him to clean up the athletic program and get it back on firm footing yet again!
Wonder if any North Carolina or Georgia folks apply for THIS job?
Of course they will, & I'd say its better than a 50% chance that's who'll get it....an out of stater.
