BOBBY SIMPSON[/B] (Camp Director) - Founder/President of Higher Ground; International experience in Austria, Canada, Czech Republic, England, Germany, Greece, Holland, Italy, Scotland, Sweden, and U.S. Virgin Islands; Head Coach of British Women's Fastpitch National Team (2001-2004), Gold Medal winner of 2004 Olympic Test Event in Greece; Former assistant coach for Dutch and Greek National Teams; Pro (K.C. Royals Baseball Academy) & college (Florida State) baseball coach; Author of Improved Hitting For Girls Softball; author, instructor, or producer for over 100 magazine articles (SOFTBALL Magazine Staff), coaching manuals, and instructional DVD's; Former Exposure Showcase Director at numerous colleges.

NANCY MARK[/B] (Assistant Camp Director) - Former multi-year ASA All-American and member of several national championship teams; 1997 National High School Coach of the Year; Teams won five Georgia high school state championships; Developed numerous college players; Featured instructor at Dutch National Clinic.

MEGAN BUNING[/B] - Former Pitching Coach at Florida State and University of Mississippi, plus Associate Head Coach at Coastal Carolina; pro pitcher with New England Riptide; NCAA/SEC record holder, All-American, and member of Hall of Fame at South Carolina; winning pitcher for British National Team in Gold Medal game of 2004 Olympic Test Event in Athens, Greece; holds Doctorate in Higher Education and currently an Assistant Professor of Educational Foundations, teaching research methods and statistics at Georgia Regents University; TV announcer on SEC Network for University of South Carolina softball.

ASHLEY CHASTAIN[/B] - Assistant Coach at College of Charleston; former Assistant Coach and DI pitcher at University of South Carolina, with prior experience at Columbus State University; pitching coach for German National Team and MVP of German National Tournament.

MARIE FOGLE[/B] - Assistant Coach at Georgia Southern University; former standout player at Georgia Southern University with career .345 batting average, .553 slugging percentage, and 27 home runs; three time All-Southern Conference honoree who helped lead team to two conference championships; former higher school and travel ball coach.

BOBBY FRESH[/B] - Former assistant coach for Tift County High School, 5-time Georgia High School Association state champions; very popular instructor at Higher Ground camps and clinics; permanent staff member of SELECT Camp.

GEORGIA GWINNETT COLLEGE[/B] - Member/s of coaching staff of a top NAIA program will be confirmed part of camp staff; Included will be Kat Ihlenburg[/B], the Head Coach at Georgia Gwinnett, former assistant coach at College of Charleston and Reinhardt, and standout player and NCAA DII World Series performer at Barry University; in addition, Ihlenburg has taken teams to Belgium, Italy, and the Czech Republic.

SAM MARDER[/B] - Assistant Coach at College of Charleston (SC); former assistant coach at Ohio State, Oregon, and Boise State (ID); 7th overall selection in 2010 National Pro Fastpitch draft (Akron…hit .403 her rookie year; NPF Offensive Player of the Year in 2012); three-time All-American and four-time All-Big Ten at Ohio State, setting OSU career records for HR's (61), RBI's (191), and walks (232).

GREG RIDDOCH[/B] - Former manager of San Diego Padres; Mental Skills Coach for Tampa Bay Rays in 2012 & 2013; former 3B coach for Tampa Bay ; Defensive Coordinator & Sports Psychologist for Texas Rangers; Director of Player Development for Milwaukee Brewers; coached/managed players such as Tony Gwynn, Gary Sheffield, Wade Boggs, and Evan Longoria; led the NCAA Division I in home runs with 17HR's in 26 games during his senior year in college; instructor at numerous Higher Ground elite softball events; instructor for four Higher Ground softball DVD's; extensive international experience, including 2012 Italian National Softball Clinic.

CHENITA ROGERS EDWARDS[/B] - Former USA National Team standout, competing in New Zealand and China; member of NCAA All-Decade Team for 1980's and voted one of top 35 NCAA players of All-Time; 2-time All-American and member of 1986 NCAA Division I World Series Champions at Cal State Fullerton; former assistant coach at Cal State Fullerton; veteran Gold travel team coach and has assisted 100's in finding a quality college experience.

BETH WADE[/B] - Head Coach at Gulf Coast State College (FL); former assistant coach at Troy University (AL), Lynn University (FL), and Appalachian State University (NC); former player at Florida State University…helped lead team to 3 ACC titles and 2 WCWS appearances, named 1st Team All-ACC and ACC All Tournament Team, led team in doubles and HRs as senior, 3-time NCAA Academic All-American.
