All State Dantez Bennamon drops 26 points to lead the Gators in the Championship game at The Roundball Classic in Charleston, SC.

North Gwinnett is ranked #4 in Georgia hoops.

Congrats to the Gators. I think they deserve a little more respect than they have received so far.

Goose Creek won the Hoops of Hope tournament and their bracket in the Rotary Roundball Classic.

Only loss to Fort Dorchester, the Gators played without Dantez.

Goose Creek (11-1) will host Fort D (8-1) on Monday.

Fort D lead Beaufort 41-29 with 6 mins to play in the Modie Risher Championship game. Beaufort rallies, scoring last 6 points to put the game in OT. Beaufort wins in OT, 49-47.

Wando has been playing well, but dropped two games in the Roundball Classic. They played St Johns (Wash DC) hard, eventually losing 65-60, then got blown out by Linden (NJ), 77-32.

St Johns is a good team. Saw them play at Dematha in Maryland a few weeks ago, number one ranked team in DC. They lost to Paul VI from Fairfax, who is ranked in the top ten in the nation in that tourney. Wando must have some talent.

Wando has tons of talent. Probably the most talent in lower state 4A, but Goose Creek is filled with winners.

Dantez makes Goose Creek go. Plain and simple. I guess he's the "winner" Wiseguy speaks about.
