Can someone please answer this question for me.

Say a kid attends a high school in the columbia area and is a graduating senior. He is on schlorship and plans on attending Furman, Coastal, Clemson, Winthrop or any school. He is going to be attending summer classes at the university the whole summer. Can he play for the school closest to his university that summer?

Nope. If that were the case, Legion teams that have colleges in their town would load up on all the college freshmen from the local college baseball team. Eligibility is determined from where the parents/guardian live.
