In every season the last decade, the 4A SC Champion (or 5A now, not sure these days) has been delivered by a SENIOR pitcher.

Given this fact, it is a place to start. Excellent early rankings. Who has a senior pitcher, do tell?

SR Shelby Griffin at Boiling Springs is a tremendous pitcher. Quite frankly underused there too. Not sure what the BS coach is thinking. She had colleges drooling all last summer and dominant in big showcases. She will be attending Pensacola St juco.

Thank you Tcollie. Watched this terrific young lady grow up. Sometimes the softball world is super tough and places players with extreme talent in a short spot. It is not any coaches fault.

In fact, it is a blessing in disguise. The ones who have to work hard to jump bigger hurdles than others, and keep at it to prove her worth, becomes a standard for that player to grow into. The Juco route is especially promising for certain players. Have a good local Juco too.

Team most definitely does not belong in early top rankings. But something for the locals to keep an eye on.

The season will be full of those who have a wealth of seasoned Athletes and those that are still maturing to the game. Warm weather and the sight of the yellow ball is a welcome sight to see. Going to be a real competition amongst a lot of teams this year!! Rankings are one thing but it all plays out on the field
