Spring Valley has a few players that could end up playing major level college football, and head coach Robin Bacon believes that Malik Wesley is one of them.

The 2019 wide receiver has excellent size at 6-foot-3 and 195-pounds. As a junior he tallied over 600 yards and 10 touchdowns playing in an offense that ran the ball a lot.

Wesley is a hand-catcher, snatching the ball at its point away from his body. His hands are soft but strong, as he shows the ability to grab the football from various angles. His long strides in the open field make him a deceptive runner in terms of his speed; he's frequently seen on film running away from defenders at the high school level.

As he continues to develop his skill set, Wesley is an intriguing prospect because his size and the way he catches the ball projects him to be able to make contested catches in traffic at the next level.
