Hey guys here is that post I promised the other day.
New Club for South Carolina Wrestling, starting on Monday August 18 at 7 PM.
State Champ Wrestling Club
1107 Harrington Street
Newberry, SC 29108
It costs $15 per practice. We do offer Membership Packages, that change that but membership packages will vary depending on the number of days you want to come and practice with us per week.
Varsity State Champions, Fargo/NHSCA All-Americans are allowed in free at the time they join the club. Those wrestlers that accomplish these feats during the year of their membership, will receive free membership for the next season.
Practice Schedule
Sundays, 2-4 PM
Monday-Thursday, 7-9 PM
That is up to 5 practices per week.
Our season will go thru May 31.
We will still practice in the Summer, but will have to modify our schedule due to Wrestling Camps and Summer Tournaments. Also, holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, we will either not have practice, or we will change the times, as they fall during the weekly practice time.
Private Lessons are also available if you would like some 1-on-1 time with our coaching staff. We also offer a Referral Program, every member that brings a friend that joins the club will receive a free private lesson from the coaching staff.
In the Fall, we will concentrate on Folkstyle wrestling, in the spring we will add Freestyle and Greco into the mix as well, but continue with Folkstyle too.
Coaching Staff:
Danny Crotts - Coached in some Capacity: 13x State Individual Champions, 4x State Individual Runner-ups, 5x State Individual Third Place, 3x State Individual 5th Place, 2x State Individual 6th Place, 1x Super 32 5th Place, 1x Super 32 7th Place, 2x Journeymen Classic 3rd Place, 1x Journeymen Classic Champion, 1x Journeymen Classic Runner-up, 1x State Dual Runner-up, I run the Junior Division for NHSCA National Championships ( I have run the Freshmen and Middle Divisions as well), I help run NHSCA National Duals, I help with Super 32.
Jeff Vesta - NCAA D2 4th Place, NJCAA National Champion,4x State Qualifier, 3x State Finalist, 1 Time Champ, 6x Fargo All-American
Dakota Holt - 3x State Qualifier, 1x State Individual Champion, 1x State Dual Team Champion, 3x Greco State Champ, 2x Freestyle State Runner-up
We will also have a few other folks that drop by from time to time for practice to help.
