**All series are now complete. Not 100% sure how the Greenville/Chapin protest will pan out, but I'm hearing Chapin has been awarded the series and technically goes 3-0 in the 2nd round. This would give Chapin-Newberry the #1 seed and bump Inman to #2.

UPPER STATE
1. Chapin-Newberry 6-0
2. Inman 6-1
3. Rock Hill 6-2 (44 runs given up)
4. Spartanburg 6-2 (52 runs given up)

LOWER STATE
1. Florence 6-0 (14 runs given up)
2. Camden 6-0 (16 runs given up)
3. Sumter 6-1
4. Hartsville 3-3 (27)
5. Manning 3-3 (39)
6. Georgetown 3-4 (39)

**the lower state play-in begins Monday, with Georgetown at Manning. The winner plays at Hartsville on Tuesday.

(2)Camden vs. (3)Rock Hill

(1)Florence vs. (4)Spartanburg
(2)Inman vs. (3)Sumter

From what I have heard, a Greenville player participated in a travel ball tournament after the playoffs had begun. This makes the player ineligible for post season play. Since Greenville used him after he had played in the travel tournament, this made them guilty of using an ineligible player, which resulted in the forfeit.

Again, this is what I have heard. I don't think any official announcement has been made,

They really need to get rid of that rule. It doesn't create a competitive advantage
