Archer coach moved to Buford but no turmoil. Buford finished 2nd at State Duals last year and returns 7 state placers and 10 state qualifiers. They also added 3 freshman kids state champions in Charlie Darracot, Nicky Stonecheck and Blaine Bergey. Buford will be missing 3 starters most likely due to the state football semis the same weekend, but will bring a very talented team.

I would think FT Mill has one champion for sure. Emerald will/should have to high placers. Rock HIll will have a lot of kids place. I am going to Say Dorman WIll have a few placers also. Its going to be a lot of fun!
Definitely agree it will be a lot of fun. I think this could arguably be the most competitive tournament in SC this year -- Clash included. Top SC teams in my book: Dorman, Eastside, Fort Mill, Boiling Springs, Rock Hill, and BHP. At least 3-4 placers for each.

Tournament ran well, a little crazy Friday night getting started and everyone ate which by that time the mats were then filthy. Entry price seemed to have increase from what was posted on Track?
Talent was excellent, the cream rose to the top from the qtrs thru the finals. Cons semis were good too. Archer and Bufords battled it out.
Refs were solid, a few missed calls normal, but no excuse for not getting a lazy a$$ around to start a NF count. That seems to be one of the most common things I saw among matches.
Food was good, people working at the gate and kitchen were pleasant.
Event staff.....come on, if you're in the building, you most likely paid. How many times do I need to show my wrist band. Keep the mats clear for viewing and give them chairs too b/c the event staff is always standing in the view too.
Overall, great tourney, ran pretty smooth, and glad the kids were able to sit around the mat, have fun, and cheer on their teammates if they were in the finals.

Was actually concerned about the kids on the floor around the mat during set-up but remembered the old Grundy VA tournament did that as well so we left it alone to see how it went. Thank you Wrestlei1 for letting us know it was a positive.
