Will Jerry Brown Remain Head Coach of the South Carolina Shrine Bowl Team

Will this effect his status as the Head Coach of next years Shrine Bowl Team . If he is not a head coach .Can he be the Head Coach of the Shrine Bowl Team ?

Same sort of thing happened to another coach in the early-mid 2000s. He didn't get to coach it. Can't recall the coach nor the school.

Greg Porter from Hillcrest should get the job then if he can win a state title there in 4A div. 1 he is one heck of a coach then

Supposedly he applied, interviewed, and was offered the Ridge View job. Seems that for whatever reason he was going to have a problem getting out of his contract in Greenville County. Not sure how that works as I can't think of the last time a Greenville County head coach was actually offered a job somewhere else. Maybe they hold a coach's feet to the fire and won't let them leave mid year wit out penalty.

why would he want to go to ridge view I can see him leaving one day to one of the places that pay huge money though

Happen to Tom Knotts when he went to Duke.

Wayne Green from Berea High School in Greenville has been named Head Coach for the Shrine Bowl replacing Jerry Brown.
