The Winthrop Eagles are still battling in the Big South Tournament with an 11-5 lead over Campbell, currently in a rain delay with a start time of 11am Saturday.
Even though they are still below .500 nice comeback year for Winthrop. Seeing them play last year I didn't see this turnaround coming this season. Several SC players doing well for them!
You are correct this team has improved and look for them to be better next year. If their pitching can improve they could be dangerous in the Big South next year.
