Aiken County to start Wrestling

Word is the new super from Summerville wants Wrestling and is having the schools do budget and facility studies and plans to make it happen.

From my understanding, several mats have already been purchased. Not sure if it will be every HS in the district but from what he told me 3-4.

Considering Aiken, South Aiken, Midland Valley, and North Augusta will all be 4A this time around, that must be those 3-4 schools.

That would be awesome! I'm the coach at Airport and was a bit disappointed in the new realignment with no teams having a program in the region. Heard some rumors about Midland valley but not from the others!
