Beach Ball and Chick Fil A all make Max Preps list of top tournaments to see for 13-14, as does the Upward tournament version held in Charlotte- Gaston Day I think?

Dorman Classic, former Upward Classic, will be played December 27th-30th. Looks to be a really good field.

Instate teams are Gaffney, Newberry, South Pointe, Dorman, Chapman, Byrnes, Irmo, Spartanburg

out of state ---Hillgrove (GA), Effingham County (GA), Iroquois (KY), East Rutherford (NC), Fayette Co (GA), Collins Hill (GA), Whitefield Academy (GA), Washington Co (GA)

Why the Upward name drop?
Strong field including runner up in GHSA 6A last year, Harrison (which lost to national program Norcross), and Effingham County, led by J. Grant, a Missouri Commit.

Midland Valley will play Clinton in the title game of the Newberry Christmas Tournament at Newberry College on Monday night. MV beat Newberry and St. Joseph's while Clinton beat Batesburg-Leesville and Strom Thurmond.
