Clemson Club Softball Regional Tournament 23rd/24th April.

Tiger Fans,

The Clemson Club Softball team will be playing at Nettles park at 10:00 AM. Clemson is ranked #7 in the nation and is the #1 seed going into this tournament.

The team is also holding a raffle/ fund raiser for a young softball player currently fighting cancer. Jenny Finch and Dabo Swinney have donated items to raffle and to give to this cause.

How did Clemson club team do today?

Won today beat Florida in final , regional @ Clemson 4-2. Surprisingly very High level of softball. Looks like both teams players have played travel ball ..Florida pitcher upper 50 s , Clemson a bit less but very good control ..I was impressed , pretty good crowd .They go to championships in Columbus Ga.

I agree. Pretty large pool of talent in state, especially upstate. Fun sport to watch, can draw crowds, people love softball in this state. Don't need huge stadium for quality facility, should not be cost prohibitive and would be able to raise funds initially from lots of donors.
