Converse Softball

So I see that Converse is starting a new softball program, it will be interesting to see who they bring in to run this program, here would be some of my top candidates in no particular to get that program up and running.

Where is Converse located and what level are they? Thanks.

Converse is an all girls College located in Spartanburg, they play at the NCAA Division II level.

Converse is a women's college not a girls. Columbia College is also a women's college that started softball several years ago. They have gotten better and usually have almost all in-state players

They may have a team, but its club or intramurals because they do not participate in the Conference Carolinas schedule that the rest of the Converse athletics participate in. That is why this is the FIRST full time Head Coach they will have hired. The plan is for them to hire now and play their first D2 schedule in 2016. They will be eligible for post season play immediately and play a full conference schedule. That will give the Conference 12 teams for their season schedule and their 8 team conference tournament for the automatic bid to the South East Regionals.
