Got copy of tournament schedule, 4 pools of 6 teams.
Blue Pool: Byrnes, Boiling Springs, Easley, Lancaster, Chesnee, N. Myrtle Beach.
Red Pool: Clover, Northwester, Chapin, Chapman, Greer, Liberty.
White Pool: Blythewood, Lugoff, Dorman, Blue Ridge, Andrew Jackson, St Josephs.
Grey Pool: Laurens, Hillcrest, Union, Gaffney, Broome, Woodruff
Pool play starts Fri March 19 at 5:30, 3 games for each team. Bracket play starts at 1:30 Sat.

One of the biggest SC early season high school tournaments starts soon this weekend.
Special thanks to the Byrnes Lady Rebels, and Tyger River SC complex, who host a most special early look.
For those who know the intricacies of this early season looks. Many pools are structured to keep normal state region challengers away from each other. The really big games will not show.
So for the casual viewer, get your team through unscathed. The media wants to focus on the Gold Bracket. The insiders know it is much more than that. The Silver bracket tells just an important tale.
But to the folks who host. Terrific job. The inside take also has a tale. Though the media will have no clue.

So, what are your observations/thoughts about tournament? Any and all are appreciated.
Got to watch some games Fri night and Sat morning. Byrnes looked solid, very sound defense and good at plate. Good pitching, think we saw their #2. My daughter plays for Lancaster, we played Byrnes in our and their second game Fri night.

Lug-off and Chesnee sweep the bigs and show to our state how deep this state is. To accomplish the task to make it to what they gained, is astounding.
To Chesnee, you made us proud.
The race is wide open. Congrat's to our our next door neighbor. But the ultimate prize goes to Lugoff-Elgin, the biggest win for them in recent memory.
