Region Champions

Blythewood High won its 9th straight region title this year, either outright or shared. Three is class 3A, then the last six in class 4A. Does anyone know of similar streaks in any classification? I believe Crescent still has an unbelievable streak going, but any other consecutive streaks out there, either past or current?

Gary Adams at Crescent has won 26 consecutive region titles. It may come to an end this year, but knowing Adams he can and will motivate his young team to accomplish the unimaginable 27!

Coach Adams does have a very young athletic team. They all have talent and with Coach Adams as their coach they can accomplish anything. The competition is great this year and it should be interesting to see who wins the District this year.

Actually last year was 27. This year made 28 region 1 championships. That will be the last region 1 championship (for a while at least) because Crescent moves to region 2 next season. Hopefully they can continue the streak in a new region.
