Congrats to Hartsville on the win last night. It's been fun to watch these two teams the last three years, to see the progress the teams have made and how the ladies have matured in the game. Hate that injury kept Payton Martin from being on the mound for Union this season for a third "head to head" Martin - Drotar match-up, but it's been a fun ride. Already looking forward to what they wil accomplish next year- Best of luck to all of these ladies!

Martin is a awesome young lady! Sad she couldn't play her Sr year.

One player can make a difference. Will Hartsville play as well and go as far without Drotar? Daniel with the loss of Martin on the mound? Union will lose 6 starters (including Payton Martin). Can't help but think it will look entirely different in 3A next year. Not sure of outstanding players other teams are losing.

2017 may very well find normally dominant teams in a total rebuilding program.
