Don't know the final three, but ones known to have interviewed are Bill Owens, Greg Porter, Gene Cathcart and Greg Lawson. David Kelly also interviewed but he remained in college by being hired at USF.

Porter has applied everywhere and he won a state championship at 4A Hillcrest just 2 years ago. Why on earth would he leave that for a Manning?

Money, and trying to get to a place that actually appreciates the fact that he won a 4A state championship, because Hillcrest/GVille County could care less.

I thought Porter was a finalist for the Wilson job?...
Porter only interviewed for 4 jobs
Wilson
Seneca
Summerville
Union County

He was a finalist at Wilson, Summerville, and Union County; not sure of who the other finalists are for UC.

I would expect Bill Owens to be one of them but that's just a hunch.

This year. But he was trying to get out of Hillcrest right after the state championship last year. Ridge View comes to mind. Can't blame him. After all, with the possible exception of Greer, football excellence means little in Greenville County

Adams is prepared and has done at good job at G'town. Owens has been off the sidelines for ten years. Porter was at Hillcrest during their rise but they are cycling back down again. A good threesome.

Union (SC): Union HS has hired former Georgetown HS (SC) head coach Bradley Adams as their new head coach as reported on HSSCOOP

Am sure this isn't thrilling new for Greg Porter. Caught lightening in a bottle at Hillcrest and has been trying to parlay that into a way out of Greenville County ever since.

HHmmm... will Adams keep the sleeve-less defensive coordinator?

By the way... you might want to actually workout with your players if you want to rock the sleeveless look.

:D:D:D:D:D

Adams is bringing Mahan his D-Coordinator at G'Town w/ him. Also bringing his brother Tommy Adams, the D-Coordinator and Strength coach at Bluffton.
