Wren vs Palmetto

Wren beats Palmetto 9-8 in a game that went down to the wire. Palmetto had 2 runners on with no outs in the bottom of 7th inning and 8th grader Emma Collins took over for starter Emily Dorn and struck out 3 batters in a row. Reagan Davis had 3 hits for Wren and 9th grader Ashley Collins had a home run.

It was a great game. Wren has great young talent and the addition of those 2 assistance coaches will win plenty of games. From the Palmetto side we are just not playing very well, have no idea on when and how to manufacture runs.
