Wren vs Seneca

Wren beats Seneca 6-5. Wren was 1 strike away from winning in the top of 7th but Seneca got a couple of clutch hits to tie the game. Wren won in the bottom of the 7th with a walk off triple by Reagan Davis. Wren had several players with multiple hits: Bre McBride, Savannah Huff, and Emily Dorn. Savannah Huff had a homerun for Wren and Addie Pate had a homerun for Seneca.

Very exciting game. Big 3 run double by Bre McBride to put Wren up 5-4 in the late innings. Its good when a team puts in an 8th grader Emma Collins to close out big games . 2 out and a bunch of foul offs and one close to being in play in front of dugout for a possible 3rd out then a bloop hit and then a frozen rope by Seneca's CF to tie the game up 5-5. Timely hitting by a different people is what it takes to win. Emily Dorn single in 7th, Dvis knocks her in. Just like I said in earlier post, can't wait until these girls start trusting each other.
