Young Coaches and Opportunities

Noles threw out a question on another thread, but I want to move it to a new one.

Here's the gist: is the infamous Buddy System of reusing Head Coaches ever going to give way to school districts hiring young coaches and giving them chances to show what they can do in our state?

There are LOTS of opinions and philosophies about hiring practices in SC? So.... fire off...

With anything, it's about "who you know", regardless of industry. If that young coach has an inside edge with someone high up, they might get that shot to prove themselves....
